Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 1 brown onion, grated
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine beef mince, grated onion, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce,
garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently with your hands until just combined - don't overmix or the rissoles will be tough.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into patties.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook rissoles for 4-5 minutes each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables or in bread rolls with your favorite sauce.
