Juicy Beef Rissoles

Ingredients

  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 brown onion, grated
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine beef mince, grated onion, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently with your hands until just combined - don't overmix or the rissoles will be tough.
  3. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into patties.
  4. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook rissoles for 4-5 minutes each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables or in bread rolls with your favorite sauce.
