Ingredients
- 500g beef mince (80/20 blend preferred)
- 1 small brown onion, very finely diced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion for serving
- Cheese slices (optional)
- Your favorite burger sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, gently mix together beef mince, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder,
salt, and pepper. Don't overmix.
- Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about 1.5cm thick. Press a slight indent in
the centre of each patty with your thumb.
- Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on the first side.
- Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium, or until desired doneness. Add cheese in the
last minute if using.
- Toast the burger buns lightly.
- Assemble burgers with patties, lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite sauce. Serve
immediately.
