Deconstructed Wonton Soup

Deconstructed Wonton Soup

Ingredients

  • 500g pork mince
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 6 cups chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (for soup)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 150g baby bok choy
  • Fresh coriander

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together pork mince, 1 tbsp soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Form into small meatballs.
  2. Bring chicken stock to a boil in a large pot. Add meatballs and simmer for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Add bok choy and Chinese cabbage. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in 2 tbsp soy sauce and sesame oil.
  5. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with green onions and fresh coriander.
  6. Serve hot immediately.
